Rabbi Dr. Irving “Yitz” Greenberg is the most influential American Jewish leader of the past half century. Yitz has been a pioneer in the realm of intra-Jewish and Christian-Jewish dialogue, a groundbreaking theologian, a strident defender of Holocaust memory, and a visionary communal leader. In this session, he will be engaged in a far-reaching conversation with Darren Kleinberg, author of the forthcoming book Hybrid Judaism: Irving Greenberg, Encounter, and the Changing Nature of American Jewish Identity (Academic Studies Press, October 2016), and Head of School at Kehillah Jewish High School, in Palo Alto.
