Lessons from Ancient Jewish Coinage

We will review the history of coinage under Jewish administrations, starting close to the beginning of distinctive coins, around 300 BCE to the Second Revolt against Rome during the Second Century, CE. We will examine the symbols and political messages that the coins convey and the political lessons the Jewish People should take from those coins in historical context.
