Mussar Blues: Strengthen Your Patience through Song

Want to be more patient? This workshop can start you on that path. Mussar Blues infuses the wisdom of Mussar masters with the infectious energy of Blues and Jazz, adding even more leverage to a classic Jewish tool for reshaping our character. Lyrics show the way to be a mensch, sing the words to engrave their message in the heart, change habits and behavior. In addition to singing, we'll use other time-tested Mussar techniques, such as visual imagery and self-assigned missions. We'll also look at other traits that affect Patience, such as Humility, Anger, Silence, and Honor. Already have a Mussar practice? Come deepen it with music. New to Mussar? Come learn how you can use Mussar to mold your inner mensch. You don't have to sing well -- just sing with intensity!
