Six Weeks In Yeshiva...In One Hour!

When I retired in March of 2015, I brainstormed a list of what I wanted to do. Near the top of that list was to study in yeshiva. As a Jew by Choice I had many gaps in my learning to fill. In May and June of last year, I spent six weeks at Yeshivat Orayta in the Old City of Jerusalem. What led me to do it? What was it like for a 59-year old retiree from Wall Street sitting in class with fifty 18 and 19-year-old students? I will try to recreate that experience for Limmud participants. It was a TREMENDOUS experience, and I hope to pass on the learning and the excitement.
