On April 28, 1945 a large number of survivors from Nazi concentration camps arrived at Malmo harbour in Sweden. Their first steps of freedom were recorded in a 1945 Swedish newsreel. Now, 70 years later, the survivors see the images from the newsreel for the first time. They relive memories of happiness, but also confusion and anxiety. Eventually they recognize themselves -- in a film reel showing the day their lives started again. Every Face Has a Name is a film about the complex moment of liberation. Sweden/2015/75 minutes
