The documentary film "African Exodus" explores Israel's struggle to handle the recent and unexpected influx of African refugees, mostly from Sudan and Eritrea, that began in 2005. Can Israel, a country founded by refugees, find a solution consistent with its own identity and values? Seeking safety and asylum, some 60,000 people from Africa have fled to Israel over the past decade. The film explores how Israel, a tiny country established as a haven for persecuted Jews from around the world, has no policy, infrastructure or political will to handle this wave of migrants. African Exodus explores Israel's other refugee crisis. The film is directed by Brad Rothschild. A trailer can be viewed here:
