Rabbi Corey Helfand received his rabbinic ordination in May 2011 from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, along with a Masters in Talmud and Jewish Law. He has a certificate in pastoral care and completed two 400-hour units of Clinical Pastoral Education, one unit at the Zicklin Hospice Center and one at Bellevue Hospital. As a Gladstein Fellow in Entrepreneurial Rabbinics, Corey served as a rabbinic intern in Riverdale, NY and in Davidson, North Carolina. He also interned for the Masorti Community in Kiryat Bialik outside Haifa. Corey is married to Jenny Ackerman. They are the proud parents of Eden, Matan, and Jonah.
