Daniel Gil
Daniel Gil is a composer, musicologist, folk musician, producer, arranger, teacher and performer living in the Boston area. He earned his degree in Composition from Berklee College of Music and has composed and performed music across many genres including classical and folk. Daniel has lectured on the history and nature of Jewish Music at the New England Conservatory, Dartmouth College, Tufts University and various synagogues. He has taught music theory and offers private violin and guitar instruction. He is the recipient of a grant from the Boston Combined Jewish Philanthropies for Jewish Music, and was commissioned by Meeru Foundation to compose The Creation Overture, an orchestral piece related to their studies of Genesis.
